General description

Experience up close mountain gorillas is probably the most exciting and impressive animal experience in the world. This 9-day journey takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable NP, where approximately 50% of the world's population live on mountain gorillas. On a hike through an almost impenetrable rainforest, you will be accompanied by experienced rangers to search for the mountain gorillas. An encounter is almost certain, as the mountain gorillas move within a day at most 1 km.

This exciting trip is rounded off with a visit to the tree lions in Ishasha, the Chimpanzees in Kalinzu forest and a boat trip of Mburo Lake NP.
Due to the high demand for the Gorilla permits, a timely booking of the trip is required. The minimum age for gorilla trekking is 15 years.
